Destination White Nancy

White Nancy
White Nancy

A visit to white Nancy yesterday 10th May. One of my favourite local vantage points and a historic landmark for Bollington and Kerridge. Unusually, I have uploaded both a mono and colour version of the same image because also (very) unusually I was unable to make up my mind which version created the best atmosphere considering that the image is a little flat. Generally, I always tend to prefer black and white.

White Nancy is one of the most comprehensively photographed local landmarks in east Cheshire and it is always difficult to find new ways of photographing it. It can be a very difficult subject to ‘edit’ effectively too due to the shape and high contrast.
